This have never been a problem for me and my textures always fits.. even when iam changing from lambert to a maxwellshader.

In the first picture ive only used PS for some corrections.
In the second picture i was forced to use neat image because of to short rendering time. The third just PS :)

@dia it was a ultimative compliment
@ Oliver
Is Maya the only software so far where you can position/scale textures for use in a Maxwell render ?
=> Same way in VIZ / Max, you have to make standard Materials to make a correct UV placement, afterthat, you "overwrite" the final setup with the maxwell materials, which are just back in preview

I mean overwrite, in turn of replace, so you replace the bitmap/with the maxwellmaterial, the UV scale stay tuned.

I dont how other progs handle the UV Maping, solidworks should have a option, In Rhino it´s probably more a use in flamingo...?
