Yesterday night i had little bit free time (my wife and my son was sleeping), so i decide to take some old model that i made few years ago and give them some new life. I choose this boom box first because i like its shape very much. My plan is to finalize the modeling (mainly at the back), improve the features, then find some good cosmetics and finally make some awesome photo and a turntable animation.

If you have any suggestion to improve the product, the scene, the color ...anything, please let me know.

Here is the first RAW image (just remove some noise on the display of the second) i made yesterday...a quick setup so need to improve some part.

Very real !
Nice texture on the black plastic ... though you get some artifacts at the base of the handle where it bends (making it look like dirt). I get those too from time to time.

Beautiful design. I love the simplicity of your stuff. Only what is needed enveloped in clean forms. Do you not have marketing people forcing you to add unnecessary stuff all over your designs! The plastic texture is perfect. Its those attention to details that makes these photos. If you don't mind me asking what texture did you use for that. Is it just a simple noise filter in Photoshop? Looking forward to more when you are allowed to show.

Thomas An.: I will check if i can improve the texture projection...nice catch as i haven't notice that before.

Eric Lagman: This design has been done for the previous company that employed me...a company who mainly make some cheap product for wallmart at that time. So my boss and the marketing dpt always requested to make basic products, with few parts to lower the production cost and save money. Such constraint always lead you to be more creative.

All of you seems to like the dark plastic. I think it's the best material i have done...I'm always happy to use it and it always give me great result. It's composed of 2 BSDF (50-50) and two different bump pattern. I feel that you are asking me to share this material, am I correct? :D

Very nice! Dark chrome parts looks boring somehow. Maybe light chrome or brushed or even shiny black would do better?

Absolutely stunning hyltom, as always. The pores on the plastic, the LCD shadows, what a crisp quality.

So, is this a known issue?
