Hi Guys, I'm always looking for good quality displacement maps, i'm not not the greatest photoshopper so anything i can find thats half decent goes into my library, this is pretty much my first attempt, displacement map dissected from others and using the gardient tool, blur etc, and i got the demo of crazybump the other day, what an amazingly cool little program, i think that will be my next purchase!

displacement for sheet metal roofing(i fixed this one, now tileable):

Good idea Brett, and thanks for the maps :)

Here's one of mine, a fur type displacement map, 8bit only but seamlessly tileable.

Thanks Maximus3D, it was Bubbaloo's idea :D

added the tif of the above corrugated sheeting file.
Any good information on the ins and outs of using displacement also welcome guys.
Also how do i render out a zBuffer image in maxwell to use as a height map? Icant get it to work all i get is black, and a flat displacement doesnt look cool.Much easier for me to model something render it and use that than any 2D editing.

Cheers

Brett
