Nah no flood risk, but I did think about a 'corner plug' in case of acts-of-god etc........mind you, that rock is hard going with a pinch bar.........believe me I know!

Been a long haitus, but some real progress coming soon, can't wait to get the arc-welder out.......snowed under with work at the mo' so it's on hold for another week or two.

Subfloor concrete now in, mixed by hand so it's a bit on the rough side.

Not si much a maxwell WIP anymore and more of a lesson in how not to build a structure.




I'm cutting the steel this weekend, then blockwork will start to go up.

Ah......no.
Winter set in early this year, this is as far as I got in '08:



Roof joists are in, ordering the roof-panels next week.
You'll notice the design has changed.....erm......again.
Big wall of glass is just too expensive, this has around 50% or the original glass but there'll still be plenty of light getting in.

Thanks guys, getting those beams in [and level!] was the biggest headache so far.........they should look good exposed & hopefully offset the finish render, stonework and glass.

I'll get excited when the roof's up and I can get some power in there.
