Hi to All,

after several tests we have to notice a little issue about latest plug-in for 3ds max 2008 x64 and windows x64

The problem is that if you install 3ds max 2008 x64 in a fresh install of windows xp x64 with sp2 or windows server 2003 x64 with sp2 this error message appear we we launch 3dsmax 2008 x64.

DLL <C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2008\PlugIns\maxwell.dlr> failed to initialize.
Error code: 14001 This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.



Probably some others windows components are missing
We have try to install several Visual C++ Redistribute packages
but the plu-ing is not loaded...

If someone has a solution can you post it
