This would be my next comment.... Can you tell us something about polys,triangles etc.... Especially for the plants, they are very nice, very detailed but probably very heavy too.

i dont think it's a poly problem... most of the time it's not

i could imagine that he didnt merged all the downlights into one object ... and the same way on some other lights with identical intensity , too...

as a result multilight had to process about 30 lights or so... and that may take
a very long time as we all know...

I don't think that in this case nextlimit/maxwell is the problem.Maxwell, render a Scene like this with correct settings and optimization under 10hours on a PC with 14.88 Ghz.So there is something completely crazy.

You're probably right....Then, the only solution is to test the scene ourselves... Is it possible to have the scene?

The Barrel Cacti are 33,500 faces each. The Agave are 105,002 faces each and the tall cacti are 63,000 faces each.

I would be willing to give the scene to Next Limit for review. But since I initially built this for a firm I used to work for, I can not post it freely. If this was one of my own projects, I would.
