I guess that's what he means, yes. Also, as you're using emitters instead of glass in the windows, you won't be able to see anything through them. So it doesn't matter if you modeled anything on the outside or not.

Hehe so that's why Louis :D in that case you can happily remove them and place something else there instead and render your nice ktichen both cleaner and faster because now the blinds are the noisegenerators in your scene.

Backgrounds can you comp in post afterwards if you render with an alphachannel or something. It'll give you more control over the final result than if you should try to match your background in perfectly when you render it.

Besides that, keep up the good work on this one. Your scene looks promising. :)

Kitchen after 15 hrs. Just a little noise, but not on a negative way. Under this text I post some ideas for the other side of the window.

Something like this is what I have in my mind. One of these days I make some pictures by myself. The picture used in this version was made with a mobile phone.

Hi Bubbaloo,

The chairs are not very smooth indeed. I gonna look in the settings of the plugin I used. Otherwise it will be Photoshop work :-)

In you're gallery I saw this beautifull image http://img522.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... dayjy8.jpg
May I ask you how you've made the landscape on the outside of the building?

The outside is a simple wall with Ivy Generator plugin for Max used, and the big trees are EasyNat plugin for Max. Maxwell Sun. Nothing fancy...

Thanks!
If you want to use a jpeg background for an interior scene, it needs to be quite overexposed. If the "camera" is set up for interior lighting, then sunlight from outside will be super bright.

Onother one.

It's very difficult to get a photo realistic in the picture. In this image the color of the photo looks wrong. I think the best way to get this realistic is making an hdr of it.

Hey Kurt,

This one is also a rendering  .
The photo I used for behind the window is a test picture. I use it to know the settings for my camera, when I am at the location.

Thanks Bubbaloo!

I wanna try simulens for this image. I only haven't got many experience with this. Does someone know what are good settings for the diffraction and frequency with the aperture map: aperture_6blades.png?

So, is this a known issue?
