Hide/Unhide doesn't work

Am using the OS X version (updated) of studio and can not activate or deactivate the Hide/Unhide field in the objects panel. Am I doing someting wrong here?

For me (on OS Leopard too) it usually works only for a while. Did I miss something in the manual?

Hey Guys - It seems work on the right-click but not on the check button in the interface... but try to use the hotkey command+shift+h.
This hides/unhides even the whole selected groups.
