The reason you're not getting the email link is they contact you first. I just got a call from their rep and got the full story.

Spaceclaim LT cannot be upgraded and has no support. The only import path from another modeler is through STEP and IGS. $695.00

The "full blown package" - Pro has all features plus support, base price $1795.00. Maintenance/year is $525.00. The Pro version doesn't come with any "native" importers, you have to buy that seperate: $450.00+$150.00 for a year of support. So, to get the full package is $2490.00 USD.

The rep is sending me the download link.

As a devoted SketchUper I must say this looks great! I wonder if this will work for architectural models as well as for mechanical. Is something essential missing, like textures? It probably has no sun?

They need to call us ?! wtf.. i don't even have a phone yet. Which is why i put a fake number in there. That's gonna cause problems for me and for them.

And that price is way to high :(

It still looks like a great app

man I want to install it, but I also want to take full advantage of it

I was looking at the videos... it's funny how he says "lets sketch..." or "this is a component..." SO SKETCHUP

And opens and saves rhino files... what else could you possible want?? (besides a free student version)

future of nurbs...?

There are some very handy solid modeler tools in the video, but I did not spot any advanced nurbs tools?

WORKING with nurbs as if they were polygons... now that is advancement!

OK, I see what you mean.
(Guess I was thinking of nurbs as in the definition "Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines" and geometry that is more complex or organic than the simple shape modelled in the video.)
