Most of the bad stuff goes on behind the scenes, often in pm or on Msn or similar. I got lots of shit there through those communication channels.
About betatesters, they represent the product so they should behave well no matter what happens, if they misbehave like this guy did then he represents the product in a bad way and ofcourse his poor behaviour goes way beyond just a pm as rumors spread like wildfire on internet, especially the bad one's. The betatesters and developers are closely tied together, in other words, if one brick fails, the entire brickwall comes crashing down..
The actions of one, affects everyone else.
