Im using Quadcore6600 CPUs with 4GB ram.. Works very nice!

Im doing my very first maxwell project btw. Its a 30 second spot in fullHD and maxwell is doing what its supposed too sofar I'll post it as soon as its hitting the air and cinemas.

No.. No overclocking. Its hot as it is in the room where the server + nodes are placed I aim for stability, not top perfomance. I also bought pretty cheap Ram that I guess don´t run well with an OCed CPU.

Rack mount was to expensive. I bought the cheapest chassis I could find (about 20 Euros each), and bought mobos with everything on it (GBE, VGA out etc).

how do you install software on all computers ? individually ? not really, or?

Just a tip, we are using Supermicro servers in our farm, they've been running 24/7 in a year now, without any problems at all, very stable.

Some of them are running on Win32 and some are running linux64.
Im slowly installing Linux on one node at a time.

But the machines are at a very good price I think... rack-mounted.
