... angry wife...? hehe... not against you Leonardo... hehe.. black belt... hehe..

America won't go down... just get rid of your present Joker president.. and everything will be fine... anybody on earth would be better... it's not a matter of being democrat or republican, or even royalist... just a matter of brain...

I am myself Royalist... why...? because at least Royalists don't just think of the next elections... that alone takes all the energy of an elected president... and he has to please too many people... so no real change is possible...

Royalists really take care of people, because they want their children to be kings too..

I agree the past kings have really exagerated.. but they were stupid... main rule is.. please your citizens.. and you'll save your head.. Louis XVI did not know that rule... hehe..

here we have no king... but a Grand Duc.. and a first minister that is busy with political stuff.. and the Grand Duc really represent the Luxembourg Unity.. that has a cost... but on the other hand... it is a very good system... at least here..

so we have the higher PIB/ people in the world... just after Koweit.. and we don't have petrol... hehe..

as a matter of fact.. the worse the situation elswhere.. the better here... so rude.. hhehe lol...

You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.. (lol)

Maybe it would be an idea to rent a house for 3 months, in France, before you make the final step. So you can see if you feel sorry or happy to go back to Seattle at the end.
I've grown up for allmost 11 years in another country. My brother is in New York today... after leaving the "home" country 10 years ago.
He has a very good job in Manhattan... but he still talks about settling finally down somewhere.
So it may not be the "social care" situation of a country... or how educated or non-educated millions around you are... may be there are other feelings...
If you can afford a longer test period, the fear to make a mistake could be significant less.

I'm kind of agree with you herve. I know that i will shock many people here, but i do believe that republic system is far away from being the best way to elect a president. Can you tell me how many people, who vote, know actually what they are doing or know what their country need? I mean, do you vote to elect the president (CEO) of the company that employ you? I believe that this task should be the responsibility of the political elite, of people that will devote their life for their country and for the populace...not for their own ego.

If we know anything, we know that life and it's systems tend to cyclic. JD more or less mentioned it in the other thread -- oppression > fight > liberate > acquiessence/laziness > oppression > freak out > fight > liberate. That's my simple breakdown.

Life is about polarities. It's the one thing all can clearly see as being an accepted rule. This dark and light, yin and yang, the anima and animus is within everything you can perceive. So what's the point? The point is that for every intention there is naturally an opposing one. This electron is being attracted and another repelled, this person puts forth an energy of compassion and another ones intends to assault. Where does it end?

It ends when one entity of any matter aligns itself to the whole picture, ..that it no longer serves just one side of the polarity. Meaning, ..it no longer creates a resistance by insisting it's dominance over another with the added intention that the other shouldn't exist at all -- as if that's possible. . Nature is always in this process of zero-ing out these imbalances, ..and of course does it far more eloquently. We as human beings are a part of nature with only a slight difference, ..that being our self-awareness. It is that self-awareness that we ever are seeking to find the zero point within ourselves and each other. Harmony.

So, .. I firmly believe in the statement, If you want to change the world, you begin with changing yourself. It's a powerful statement. If we begin to address the polarities(judgement, expectations, intolerances etc..) within ourselves we will no longer be adding to the larger polarities in life, ..the very ones we rail against so vehemently in society are also the very ones we are unwitting supporters of.

Therefore, ..I'm in allowance for all things to transpire. "good or bad", ..I refuse to judge it from one side of the polarity or another, because if I ever hope for it to change into something more desirable by all, ..then I also have to reserve the right for it to exist as a 'negative' side of the polarity. I'm not saying be an ostrich with your head in the sand and everything will get better, .. what I'm saying is that a greater understanding of how things really come to be will constitute a more conscious and responsible choice unilaterally of where we desire to go as a whole. We will diffuse the mental and physical bombs we have created in a higher understanding that there is indeed a better way.

Freedom is not a location, it's not geographical it's a matter of your knowing it for yourself and also wanting it for another.

Now, ..that is my desire for myself and all of you. ;)

well... I am going to shock even more here... but I am sure the problem comes from the media... they are very responsible for all the mess that is happening all around the world.. do you know this...?

"How to bring back the peasant to the farm after he saw Paris?"

rude but true..

TV's and magazines put gazoline on the fire everyday...

SWIM...?

again on TV there was a report about traders in London.. and how much money they make... so fast... in fact at the end , the people will just remember "how much money they make.. !", ..

The earth "could not take" the entire population living like in Europe or US in any way...

Your not following the money trail far enough H, .... the media is certainly complicit in undermining humanity, but remains only the vehicle --- following the trail a little further to who owns the media and you'll find public enemy #1. But that just creates another schizm between the supposed good and bad parties, ..the point remains that we allow everything to occur, albeit the tools and methods they use against the public are severely leveraged towards their behalf.

And to be horribly cliché, of which I apologize (lol) -- free your mind and the rest will follow.
