You seem to enjoy the same type of blending stone I do, the edge can be further refined with angleded top stones.

I´ll show this type of blending if time will let me visit my fav villa finished.
It´s still not 100%, but getting close.

2 smaller "still nice" modernistic ver are not ready yet.
Concrete/glass/wood/steel combo is not cheap so stuff take time.

In fact I´ll post images of my happy clients infront of their wild dreams.
But this has to happen in spring, all of them are very hard working.

None of them will agree to show off a ruggid/unfinished project.

Most of these villas are finished, but the details/garden/season is not finished he he.

Only one more left, not the 1000 square m monster, that need more land.
It´s smaller with nice land/free area.

I´ll render all of them with new design in time, but for now it´s more important they finish and enjoy.

I do not work like conventional architects/artists, need time.

I´ve been banned for ever according to the admin, so that be it.

It´s not my pro MR spamming that caused this, more like anti Autodesk attitude at times.

I´ll re-render all my old stuff in MR anyway! the child of me he he , and even Augi can not stop the sometimes childish behaviour of Autodesk´s ant´s.

I´ll post real images contra the lousy Accurender ver, when the work is done.

Still ! I feel my way of pushing Revit thinking was not to agressive.

I´m happy that Revit finally got a new solid render engine, so Maxwell can justify it´s role as something spesial.

My point against bump/displacement mapping is unchanged.
Sometimes it benefit you, like clipmaps.

Most of the time real modelling is faster in the long run.
But for animation this can be different.

Did they get mental ray?
Yes, mental ray is the new rendering engine in RAC2009.

And speaking of Revit rendering, McNeel has released an alpha version of their new Accurender nXt plugin for Revit http://nxt.accurender.com/forums/143.aspx If they're able to create a standalone nXt plugin for Revit, then it seems a Maxwell plugin for Revit ought to be possible...

Right now we use ACA2008 and Max, but we are also looking at and testing Revit.
No, you can't subdivide or tesselate a mesh in Revit.
RAC2009 will export to fbx so the workflow between Revit and Max should be greatly improved.
