I disagree! :D
I think he meant: "it's too complicated for architects"

.... then I would agree

This thread is one of the funniest that I have ever read

There are so many things I would like to quote for my sign !

no no.. I disagree.. architects are very capable of doing it... it is often a matter of lack of time.. a little bit like the dentists... 8)

So much work go into these materials, that I almost feel it´s a work of art in itself.

I´ve just ended up as a very real world fan replica, after watching MR develop.

Still have problems with the sky settings, anyone knows these suttle changes that occur all over the world, and is not sonstistent with atmospheric conditions.

Like I just wanna put a deep blue shade on the sky at a time of year that is not supposed to be like that.

The Sky is real hard work if you want to get something decent out of it, perhaps it's broken and needs fixing..... but that is what makes it real!!

(Not like the fake displacement that is soo bloody easy to get something good out of it  )

Great work!

I´ve done almost the same, but used a gdl tool to generate low poly ver.
So need to place the rigde stones, top/edge manually to cover the bad poly´s in sight.

Not sure if it´s worth it! but MR seem to push obsessive behaveiour.

Bending these tiles into a chinese hip form is worse though!
