#258431
Sorry if this has been logged before, I did search but nothing useful.

I created scene in 3d Max 7 and then render and I see benchmark to 530.

I exported scene to .MXS file and then started Maxwell studio (MXST). Loaded the MXS file and started render, much slower with benchmark at 422.

I did close all other programs while rendering

Is this normal?

It's not normal for sure. Do you use instances?
Could you submit a small scene having this behavior?

Should I e-mail to you Tom?

Can you check if the "low priority" setting differs between Max and Studio? That setting is not saved in the MXS file, so if you've unchecked it in Max, it will still be on by default in Studio, which might explain the difference.

I wouldn't expect this much difference in bench just because of priority except if you don't run something remarkable in the background and of course we need to save/fix priority state. Yes, you can send it via email to me.
