I'll tell you what though Maxer. I've owned an LCD / Plasma and DLP television set and the DLP is by far the best I have owned. I won't buy anything other than DLP in the future.

I have a Plasma and a DLP and the plasma handles colors much better and is brighter than the DLP. DLP is good but you have to contend with replacing that bulb every 2000 hours which is a drawback for me.

That's true; however it's very easy to avoid burn in if you avoid leaving the same image on the TV for extended periods of time. I've also heard that the new generation of Plasmas has greatly reduced the burn in problem.

Greatly reduced but it's still there and that is a non fixable problem. You have to buy a whole new unit if that happens :(

I've been super pleased with my DLP and love the color quality but I agree that plasma has a brighter color pallete.

300 bucks got me a 5 year warranty and if my bulb burns out, they come put a new one in for free :)
