Hi All,

This is a very quick scene to test out 1.6
Displacement used for the brick wall [Thx to Max for the material]
Also the rug and the masks on the brick wall
I'm rendering another POV which will show the rug and masks
much better, will post tomorrow.
This reached S/L 14 in around 24Hrs benching around 4.5
Should have left to render for a few more samples to help clear the noise
but it is just a test scene.
Ps; I've corrected to uv mapping on the bed

Plant, .. good.
Galvanized metal, ..good good.
Tiger, ... good.
Water, ..good.
Noise with water caustic, ..not good.
Brick, ..maybe a hint of sheen, ..but good.
Wood, material, finish, mapping, ... all good.
blanket, ...stiff.

Thank you all for your comments always very welcome.

JCAddy: The stand has a texture but it is a very pale wood grained texture, also I think the low F stop and having the camera focus on the glass kind of blurs the foreground. Its something I'll look out for form now on.

simmsimaging: Thank you it means a lot coming for you.

Ivox3: I think that water caustic would take a week to clear on my machine

devista, Bubbaloo, tom, sandykoufax agian thank you very much :)

P.S. Should have an update rendered by the morning!

Thanks once again guys :)

Different POV
Image

It really needs more S/L but its only a test scene
so 15 S/L will do for this one

Cheers

Cool idea to use displacement for those masks :) What looks a bit odd is the brick wall colormap is a bit too saturated.

That's beautiful 4 Hero  i really like the first rendering you posted although the second one is ofcourse also a nice one. :)

Btw, good to see the brickwall material was useful and thanks making such good use of it. :)

Maybe you could desaturade the colormap of the brickwall by a little like Mihai said, but that's a 10 sec operation in any paintprogram to do.
