Hi folks,
I needed to do some glass renderings for a (different) project, so I'm playing around with this scene of a bottle and glass as an experiment. This is also my first foray into 3ds Max (I'm primarily a SolidWorks user).
Anyway, I thought I'd put up what I've got so far to see if anyone has any feedback. I'm pretty happy with the bottle but the tumbler needs work (too reflective and/or lighting setup may be wrong). In particular I'm not sure where the highlights on the tumbler are "supposed" to be.
Current version (12/9/07) SL 19

Lighting setup (12/9/07)

The tumbler's glass material is the same as the bottle minus the (very fine) bump map. The wax on the bottle's neck has a subtle displacement map. The bourbon material is a single BSDF with my best guess at the params.
Thanks
