This is a sculpture designed by one of my co-workers entered into a competition for the Tulsa, Oklahoma Centennial Celebration.
I modeled it in Max9 from his sketches and put together a presentation and we won.
So now they are going to build it in downtown Tulsa (very near to where I work).
This is a render of the sculpture on it's simply modeled base and surroundings so that the city can decide how big to build it.
Tulsa's history is heavily rooted in the oil industry, hence the design concept.
The base of the sculpture is going to include a water feature that erupts water every few minutes like an exploding oil derrick.
We are very proud of this!
Thanks for any comments.
