just for a laugh I tried importing all my MXM materials....

2 gigs of RAM is not enough it seems...pity.

but I can understand it as I think I've got some 1600 mats...I suppose I'll have to create a favourites folder and move/copy all the most used mats into that before importing.

Hello Adri,

Do not convert huge batches of materials as in your case. Convert in smaller batches.

If the material database is large, this can
take some time and memory and the material thumbnails could take a
while to update.
