I posted this on the general topic and no one replyed maybe i will have better lucks here.

Can someone point me in the right direction when creating uv maps in maya.

I created simple three plane diecut and i wish to have the projection map on the whole polygon and not each individual polygon plane.

What am I doing wrong?

just select all your planes the same time and make a planar projektion -> done

also, in planar projection options, try the different axis if the UV dont look as expected. Yoour UV seems to be projected top down (Y axis)
