Hello friends from all around. I have in my computer 735 images that i have collected since i joined the forums, this images are from all of you, true masters of digital visualization.

What do you think if i put them on my .mac homepage just to have them in one place for new user from every where to see the beauty of MaxwellRender.

Hope you all agree.

As long as you credit the maker i dont see a problem, but some people might have posted commercial work that they dont want floating around the internet...but then if thats the case they shouldnt have posted it in the first place...

sounds a good idea, i've seen great images around here which don't have a place in the officila maxwell gallery. it would be good to have them collected in a single page.

Why not put together another gallery section on this forum where everyone can post their images, without comments or suggestions. This way everyone has an opportunity to add images to their gallery or edit images as they go. More importantly, all new users can still find them on this site.

As it is, the current user gallery has become more of a work in progress thread with comments and suggestions. Maybe just renaming this thread "Work in Progress" would do the trick. I think the guys at Next Limit would be more than happy to set things up. It would certainly handle the copyright issue more appropriately.

Just a thought?

Hello guys and Fran, you are beautiful Fran, not the first time i have said this.

Any ways... it is difficult to upload all this images, my ISP is so shitty that its drive me nuts. MaybeDmax's idea is the best way. As i see the images i see some are from light setups, maybe a new section, correct light setup for dummys or something.

Thanks a lot to every one supporting this idea, i love looking at images, but hate to navigate endless masseges for them. :?

Maybe flickr.com is a good idea. You can make photoalbums, and also comment the pics. So we could make one account which everybody has access to and everybody uploads their pics into their own photoalbum. Wonder how much bandwidth a free account offers though......

I could host it on my webserver, but as it runs on my home computer it could be slow when i run diverse programs here, also i need to reboot and shutdown from time to time. But other than that it's online around the clock :) and there's no bandwidth limit and anything like that. That's where i run my own so called website on now, even tho i been too lazy to put together anything pretty to post my pics on hehe :)
Anyways if that's ok then i can be of assistance :)
