Hyperballad wrote:I think it's an improvement definitely, but show it in the same lighting situation. Right now the sun isn't hitting the front of the building like your other rendering. I think it's harder to get a realistic result in direct sunlight. Everything in shadow looks better.....don't ask why haha.
I usually try to hit my buildings with direct light... perhas I should try more "in the shadow moods" from now on

GREAT update leo! the 4-20 update that is.. very nice
(i would change the bushes in the bottom of the frame..maybe just a fix in photoshop- sumthings wrong about them..maybe they are too washed out-too white..they need to be Darkend(just burn tool PS em)cuz they top of the render is totally photo and the bushes throw it back to render.. but the image looks great.. when the image first loaded i was like "what?- Wow!")
your renders are looking better and better.. keep it going!

ALL MY PLANTS ARE ALREADY IN STUDIO READY (LIBRARY)... I JUST IMPORT THE ONES THAT I NEED AND SET THEM UP IN STUDIO... SKETCHUP WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HANDLE ALL THOSE PLANTS

(SORRY, FOR MY CAPS..... I'M WORKING ON CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS RIGHT NOW)

I like that patio / deck shot the best :)

Cool to see how similar it is to the renderings. At first I thought your photos were renders, I was going to say WOWsers.

Update 02/19/08
As you can see, there is not much going on on Miami these days, so I haven't done too many renderings lately!
This is a project in Colorado that we are designing at the office

As you can Imagine, I had to create a few new textures to make it work with my pipeline  I also use the some of the materials from the mxmgallery... very helpful!!! (look at that snow  )
