One of our projects is a large hospital and we are renovating the lobby,
adding a row of displays showing a list of people who have donated to the various buildings that make up the hospital campus.
Here is what I have to work with...


He wants me to focus on the displays, with only a simple background and a couple of human figures for scale.

Here I added some etching on the glass:
BTW, the black part is supposed to be granite, the green is tinted glass with etched text.

Is the etched parts supposed to be like brushed/matte glass?
You can always add some leds in the bottom part of the glass to enhance the effect. But then you'll need like a aluminium border or something like that at one of the sides.

Yes, a matte glass material. Still working on that.
Basically I just increased the roughness on the glass material to get the effect.
But I haven't actually applied it to the glass/modeled it, whicj I plan to do.
Right now it's just mocked up in front of the glass.

Are those figures rendered 3d with a transparent material or some other weird arch vis trick? Interesting.

They are 3d people with a tinted AGS material with roughness set to 50.
