In mxed, when I press the button to update the material image, I notice that it is only using 25% of my processors. I have it set to highest quality and it takes up to 30 seconds sometimes to get the image rendered. Can you allow this to be a multi-threaded procedure to take advantage of all the processor power available?

If you open the preview scene in Studio, ...you will see that the threads are either set to 1 or 2 at best. Just change it to 1024 .....and your good. lol.

For the record, .. I've done this and it definitely speeds up the preview ---but if I have a look at the task mgr. during a calculation --- I still only see maybe 4 or 5 thread being used -----:roll:
