Ok, now one thing I won't let you do is sell your work short Brett. Maybe all you've done is fluid for your gallery but they're damn fine pieces of art, bottomline. Many of the master painters only had one focus for their works, didn't make them any less an artist.

Sh!t look at it like this. I've been here about 3years or so. Most time's when I post images I get mild interest and then the post fade away. you're on how many pages now?

Killer work. period. makes me feel small brother.

Luis you are too kind. Thanks, but do not feel small about your work man, it's looking very good.

I often see work done and feel the same, but I try to remember that there is always work out there that will seem better than ours, or will be, but it doesn't make our work any more or less than what it is. Besides, we can't all be Hyltom, or Tora, or 4Hero, or Tim, or Gianni, or........

:)

Truly inspiring work! The red ball falling into the water, super fresh feeling to it, and the icecubes......

Thanks Mihai and Tom! Much appreciated!

Tom: sorry, forgot to delete that link when I dumped the image out of the gallery. It wasn't really adding all that much :)

...such a fantastic eye and sense for drama... so nice to be able to enjoy an image; not just marvel at it.

Hi Brett!

Nice render :D How do you like Realflow?

Hey Greg - thanks!

I'm loving Realflow. It definitely has a learning curve but it is very powerful. Almost overkill for stills work, but it does stuff that Glu can't touch. Beyond that it's *significantly* faster for simulations and it's meshing is also much better. I just wish I could get motion blur working with it in Maxwell!

I have a new image almost ready to post - probably post it later today - that was done with RF as well.

I wish I could justify purchasing Realflow - it looks like fun.

About the motion blur problem, have you tried it with 1.5.1 yet?

I was hoping to, but no joy with Max yet. I couldn't get much happening in Studio and NL hasn't gotten back to me to clarify some confusion on that. I don't think it's actually available as of yet - at least not from Max anyway.

We'll have to wait and see I guess :)
