if its true you will see it at siggraph. but because you know how new things are if you know about it, you probably cant talk about it.

Hehe, i wonder how many new bugs they plan on implementing into version 10 :D i'm sure it will love to crash even more than the previous releases. They should make their current relaese fully working and stable instead of pushing out the big 10.

I would say a new version once every two years, and patches on the years in between. It's crazy having to upgrade so often!!!!!!!!

Ask any Architectural Firm's owner, Autodesk is the devil! Then again, I'm looking forward to a Vista optimised 64 bit version.

No matter which version we use, I believe that 80% of us don't use even half of MAX's features and there must be at least 5 commands that we ignore.

I agree! I use it mainly for modelling. I know it can do much more. A colleage and I are getting ready to take an intermediate 2 day course on some of the more in depth features. I'm looking forward to this.

I totally agree with you on this one but then most of the subscription customers would bitch because they arent getting anything for the money they pay every year

yep, autodesk has to justify what you pay for the subscription, so it keeps releasing a new version a year. especially this time around, considering what joke the productivity booster is.

Are you guys for real? there is a dedicated team working their socks off to produce a major release for you to use and that's the sort of thanks that they can expect? especially considering the low cost of subscription. shame on you all.

oh well, I guess I'm only a bit frustrated. I've really been hoping for the productivity booster to actually boost my productivity.

So, customers pay because they get a new release, or they get the release because they pay? :?:
