here's a big pain. i use max 9 and sketchup 6. i love the new 1.5, BUT how about a resource collector to reset material directory paths. it's quite annoying to have to re-path new materials.

You don't have to manually set paths anymore to search for textures in 1.5. First of all, it searches the textures in many more places than 1.1. It searches for textures in the location of the mxm, it searches for textures in the location of the mxs, it searches for textures in 5 different paths you can set in preferences in Studio (which then MXED will also use). You can even change the extension of the textures and it will find them if the name of the texture is the same.

This has been mentioned maybe 10 times even before release, and also in the release notes.

i work in max and it would be good to be able to define at least one texture path. better like it works in max: texturepath + all sub-paths.
i don't work with referenced materials so i only have to search for textures and ior-files. and these textures are organized in a folder stucture with many subpaths...
or is it possible to set one path it in the command line options like it was in previous versions? can't find this option anymore...

btw. standart ior's stored in the default dir of maxwell can not be found!
