Hi

If I take eg the ags_dielectric_basic and want to make it slightly less transparent (so as to be more like a semi transparent plastic) what do I need to change?

Maybe if you increase the roughness of the glass it will look more like what you want it to look like. I'm sure you can find some glass materials like that on the MXM site. And then you can perhaps take down the refraction index a little.. i guess.
