Hi,
i start working on an object and finally i will have to produce an hi-res image.
So i'm testing the network rendering option... but using the same .MXS file i got these different images:

Stand alone rendering:
Image

Network rendering:
Image

I've used 4 machine (2 single-core, 1 dual core, 1 dual Xeon)... but why the co-op rendering gave me this strange image?

Thanks a lot for your tips!
(and links to other co-op tips too)!

puh. no idea about this. but a question...

can you do a coop rendering higher than 4000px horizontal? that doesn´t work for me. servers always crash when i set the resolution higher than 4000px...

that's really weird, first time I see something like that.
So, please gave us more information. did you stop the render? did it finish succesfully?
Does it happen all the time?
Can you reproduce?
Does it happen with other scenes?

Thanks

Oh, great! Now it's work fine.
I think the bad thing was to put the PC that do the Manager togheter with the other PCs calculating the rendering... (it's possible or not?)

Thanks NL

No, it can't be the reason if you haven't launch more than one manager. I suspect this could be a temporary RAM problem. Very rare (1 in a thousand maybe) on some hardware I've experienced similar loss of mxs data issues. It's good it didn't happen again. ;)

Geometry missing ...mmmhh, I have that problem sometimes. It seems like 1 machine hangs when preparing the geometry. But I solved it , re-initiating everything. Or maybe some issue related to anti-virus, I always need to de-activate the real-time protection.
