Amazing quality and impressive attention to detail. I'm especially amazed by the flashlight renders. They're truly photographic. You deserve all the compliments of this thread.

Cheers,

thanks again and again for all your nice comments, I'm getting kinda famous meanwhile...
That way I feel encouraged to move on to other (bigger) things and I started on a new (more versatile) set of renders ranging from classic interior scenes- I just cant let go of them, and maxwell performs best in these field I believe-to exterior and product visulisation images.
here is a first try on complex geometry with maxwell. (not finished)

looks good, only thing that bothers me are those textures a bit too stretched in the foreground. apart from that good images as usual.

heh, at first I thought it was one of those photo/render comparisons again.....
The only thing that strikes me a bit odd is how clean the ceiling/wall mat looks compared to the rest of the textures.

I thought it was a photo comparison too. You are very good. How many bounces on this one?

thank you all, the images are not finished yet, I am not satisfied since they can be easily spot as CG... the larger the scenes, the more difficult it gets to obtain a certain level of photorealism.
@otacon: I used 10 bounces on these. They rendered in around 8 hours on the machine posted in my signature. sampling level 20 reached.

Hi again,
these are the last images of this series, as I stated earlier I am now moving on to another style of renderings(really hope the beta version will allow me to do some more complex shading) .I finished those a while ago, but did not post them because of the "flashlight mania". Anyway, I show them here to complete my series of interior renderings.
I re-rendered the kitchen scene in another- more standard like- format, hope you like it.

Tora_2097
p.s. sorry for the large file sizes...

Just awsome! Great work! :D

What size are your renderings before downsampling? And what is your
maximum possible render-size with Maxwell?
