Wonder why they canceled this in maxwell render thread but...here's the problem:
is it normal that white 255 in transmittance channel causes mxed to crash?
(if i set 254 everything works fine)

Yes Tom, sorry for the delay of the answer but in Italy we were sleeping!
And this happens either if i set the value directly in the channel or if i import an image with pure white.

We're sorry for this inconvenience, it's a known bug now and it appeared unexpectedly after all tests. Thanks for your understanding and considering it as a release rush surprise. You'll soon have these all fixed.
