I presume the powers that be are aware that AGS glass is not working on the Mac OSX version

Yes we are aware. To be more precise it happens only on osx intel, not in ppc. We are trying to solve it as soon as possible.

Not to be pesky, but how does something as basic as AGS glass on the Intel macs slip by the testers?

hey - it seems it sneaked in in the last revisions. but any way, you can find an update already on the download server NOW!

edit: which apparently still has the AGS trouble if you did read the post by boris... so maybe wait another few hours, it seems to be a particular nasty one - i'm sure they are working hard to fix it!

ah ok - thanks for the link, didn't follow that thread further too...

so let's all wait for a final fix - the guys at NL are working hard at it!
