I've got a large archicad model which requires both emitters (to illuminate the inside of an apartment building) and then sunlight to illuminate the scheme. I export it from archicad and if I have emitters I get no sunlight (more skydome). As soon as I turn them all off I get sunlight with shadows etc......The really strange thing is that the preview shows emitters and sunlight and the render does not.....

Any ideas?

I get the same problem with sunlight even if i have no emitters in the scene... what is really weird to me is that the same thing happens when i import the .mxs in a previously built and correctly working scene!

Update:i found that one of the materials was set as an emitter. Having canceled the emitter layer, sunlight started to work properly again. The emitter caused another problem: GMT data were completely scrambled up and the sun position was almost unpredictable and incorrect.
