So 8 full licenses can be used by 8 different persons (in my studio)?

Thank you, Gio

I was pointing to the difference between having 8 full licenses and 1 full license + 7 render node licenses...

Not to sound stupid or anything :D (more than usual) but those of us who got one beta license and the +1 license would in other words now have 8+8 licenses :D if so that's nuts, i mean in a good way ofcourse. I barely have one computer.. what am i going to do with all the other licenses.. it's a shame they're not being used, that's the only thing that bothers me.

My understanding is that 1 full license = 4 machines with unlimited cores and 1 plus one license = 4 machines with unlimited cores for a total of 8 machines. this would equate to 8 single core or 8 dual core (16 cores) or 8 quad core (32 cores) or 8 dual quad cores (64 cores). I'm dizzy now :)

Sorry. I meant to say 1 beta license = 4 machines

It looks like NL people read this thread, because Juan and Nicole add some replies.

So I would like to ask if cinemaxwell will be updated too. Especially if there will be 64bit version of Cinemaxwell. Cinemaxwell is only thing why I can not use 64bit version of Cinema. Of course plugin with better "C4D like" workflow would be super great.

And of course i am very excited with all anouncements and i hope NL have some great surprises hiden forus.... :)

one of the recent announcements did say that all the plugins will be updated but exactly what will happen with each plugin we don't know…yet

Vignetting is the darkening effect that happens on real-world lenses, especially wide angle lenses. The amount of vignetting is controllable from the MXCL interface.
Is there any chance that this will be a feature that is controllable from the plug-ins? I for one like to do panoramas and I just use 3DS Max to export all 6 frames and it goes.
Controling vignetting is not a studio related thing if that's what you're referring to, it instead is a MXCL thing.
Meaning that you can't set vignetting to zero or something in your host aplication, instead you adjust it later as you would with a multilight slider for example.
You could perfectly render your 6 frames and remove the vignetting entirely from all of them if you like.

That does seem nice, if you have all original 6 MXI files. I guess this goes to my thread over at http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... hp?t=22587 which everyone is ignoring also. Is there a way when doing an animation (because basically that's what the 6 pano frames are) to have it save all the MXIs as it would all the TIFs? If not then the vignetting, while a nice feature, could be a slow implementation. Thanks for answering Tora.

I don't know if this came up yet, but it was stated that scenes & materials from 1.1 will be 100% compatible with 1.5. So I'm thinking here:

a) Nothing was done regarding making life easier with decals and clip maps.

b) There will be an option on new materials and we can choose to keep the old behavior or implement the new one, with ordered layers or something like that.

Anyone has information on this?
