Happy Saturday! :D
At least for me since i just finished another project and it feels like such a huge weight has been lifted off my back.
This is a Project in Istambul that many of us will never have the chance to stay at. The night rate will go for about 5 G's a night. The project consisted of four diffrent areas, and therefore four different models from the entrance to the neighborhood style Suites. I hope you enjoy these images as much as i suffred with them.
Maybe we'll see dome interior shots, who knows.

It is not the Matrix, the guys on the first image are supposed to be security wearing the same uniform. Mr. Anderson

Yeah, when do you sleep? 'insomnia3d' is about right!

These are very impressive........but watch the spelling in the headers, simple things like that can have an adverse effect on client relations.

Most important, i mistakenly pressed the 'M' next to the 'N' please excuse me, not intentional.
 I think i i did make a couple of mistakes, comes with the insomnia. Fortunately these were only for the forum, the client got clean ones.

insomnia3d,

these are absolutely beautiful! How did you deal with the trees? I've reecently done a residential project and 3D tree were a nightmare (too many polys)!

How long did the whole project take you? However long it's really been worth it, the images are amazing.

WOW, thank you all for the support and comments, afetr rendering so many tests and test i hated this these renderings.

oz42- Due to the site of this project, which is pretty much a forest, i ended up using varius tecniques toguether. The first three have vue trees which, when exported right, will contain about 10,000 plus polygons and have enough detail fo rendeing. But those three areas were the most contained one. The last two i used Vue trees and combined them with thousands of clipmaps to cover the ground very well. The main reason i decided to use that is because the angles of the cameras really allowed for the coverage of the ground by way of single face polys. The project was starte three four weeks ago, with some simple building models. Then it stalled for anbout two weeks and finally last thursday i got back to it. From that point it became a 18 hour a day thing in order to meet deadline.
Perhaps the most challenging part of the project was to add the little architectural details that the architect did not add. So i spent about two days taking notes and looking at Istanbul 1900's architecture books to grab truss details, accents, moldings, etc.

Patrick Panda- I guess that would also answer your question.

Glebe-
sad but true.
'insomnia3d' is about right!
Leo- SmartAss, but after this while i figure you mean well by your comments. i have been waiting 8 years and five render engines to hear that
