I have a spacemouse, the predecessor and I've loved every second with it since I got it. I've had som problems with mouse-arm syndrome in my right arm, and since much of the work in 3d is about navigation this device takes out some of the load and puts it in my other arm.

And then, it's very intuitive to use. addictive sort of :) give it a go, i'd say.

I forgot to tell you I find it very useful when creating very large objects and also need precision; you can create objects while moving from one point to another so can get close to take the snap to one vertex and then fly to the other side of the model to finish the object.

Enjoy your new toy!

sorry 'bout the OT, but How do you do that? my spacepilot will only pan in windows image viewer, and i would very much like to use it with photoshop.

It's true it didn't worked when installed the first time.
I downloaded some drivers for Photoshop from their site. They were a bit hard to find. Go to Support > Driver download > choose your controller > choose Archive (Legacy software) > choose Photoshop > Download

Great!

Their site is a bit odd sometimes; it took me a while to get there even though I have been around before.
