I would definately be a nice easter present! But my guess is that we have to wait a few weeks more.

But the point isn't that we can do 53" images at 300dpi, but that you can do something like 8000x6000 with less than 2GB. Hi-res for everyone. :)

Of the things revealed so far, I can tell you Resume Render always being on without you having to think about it is something you get used to, fast.

Mike,
Are you saying V1.2 will be available in 64 bit? Which is high on my wish list.
Or are you running a 32 bit version under XP 64 bit?
Or maybe on a Mac, where you can get access to that much RAM.
Thanks for the insight.

I just hope that it's a seamless conversion to go from V1.1 to V1.2. Will it be a case of totally removing V1.1 from your system before installing V1.2, or will the installer just update the changes in the existing directories? When the new version comes out, I think I'll wait a while to let the developers discover all the bugs with converting to the new version before it disrupts my workflow. :wink:

So I guess now we sit and wait. I also notice that the newsletter is named Spring
rather than the month. Does that we are getting a newsletter every 3 months?

it seems like a lot of people expect a newsletter every month, and we can't always live up to that.
NL ultimatly decides when to release information..but, NL announced it wanted to communicate with it's users and subsequently released;
"November Newletter"
"December Newletter"
"January Newsletter"
"February Newsletter"

So...it should be clear why "a lot of people expect a newsletter every month"...no big mystery there. Even lab rats would have expected March..so I wouldn't blame it on our misunderstanding.
