now, what kind of device do they use to take those pics? :shock:

they seem to work so good in such a small places. I think it's amazing and very useful for making virtual tours of homes (which I could use!!!!)

Sure ...... there's companies that make little kiosks that can be programmed with some OS and a viewer. ....but beyond knowing that, ....I know nothing. :lol:

I'm sure it can be done...in fact I ask here, because this is the larget geek consentration on-line :lol:

I'll take a look... hopefully they are not more than $2k, or I doub it would work for my intended plans.

I checked out the specs on the machine, ...they're pretty humble as far as machines go , ......so I'm gonna speculate that $2K should be a good figure ( or less).

Geek concentration ? .....here ? ....no way, ....really ? :P

edit: Sandy ......yep, ..did that one ---- pretty cool or I could just go out and sit in the one in my garage. ....... kidding. lol...

I was talking to the guys at Seepoint.com

they want $3300 for the VantagePoint Light free-standing kiosk systems (Just like the one ivox posted)
and
$2550 for the regular one

their standard configuration is a wooping Celeron M 1.4GHz, 512MB of Memory, 80GB hard drive, running Windows XP Pro) :shock: (that thing will render on maxwell like a rape ape!!! :lol: )
