I'm working on a project for a book to be printed... I have multiple layers. I need to cut sections out of the original and past them into the new file. I need to cut ALL the layers... Damned if I can figure out how to do this (being the self-proclaimed PS expert that I am... ). Help... (please!)

Can't you just merge those layers and cut away what you need? Or you mean you need to cut and paste, but still have the layers intact?

Cropping will maintain all of your layers - so just crop and save-as for each of the sections you need.

As michael said, if you crop it will maintain the layers. Just duplicate the image so that you do not save over the original

Hi all!

Thank you for the help; using the crop tool did it. Thanks again!

And if I model and render 'Mocha's first broccoli' ?

That should safely bring this thread to being more off topic once again. hehe ....
