Hello,

I'm not sure it's my fault or a general problem: I can not open my Quicktime Virtual Realities at XP64 and Quicktime 7 anymore. Does somebody know, what happens? At XP 32 it was working.

Thanks,
Micha

I like XP64. It's easy to use like XP Pro. Only some little problems:

- QT VR reality dosn't work, but can be replaced by http://www.devalvr.com/

- I can not find a free firewall (I think I will buy the AVG incl. virus scanner)

- Adobe GoLive give me a small work space only

- my old Canon Ixus v² driver dosn't work (I will use a card reader)

Micha ......that devalVR is pretty nice. Are you going to use it ? ..is there not a main creation app? ...just a viewer ? .....confused a little.

For creation of virtual realities I use:

www.pano2qtvr.com

I bought the pro version, that allow to create object movies in quicktime format. The free version support the panorama function only. Very easy to use and good price for full version.
For viewing at my XP64 machine I need the devalVR viewer, but at 32 bit machines the Apple QT viewer can be used. Here an example I have done some days befor - bio mass to liquid - an art object from my wife:

This example allow to turn and little bit shift up and down.

It's cool. So, how many frames are necessary for something like this?

I rendered 120 frames per turn - all together 240. Done with the Rhino standard animation tool. Makes fun, nice simple tool.
