I would like to see multilight applied to the vector between sunrise and sunset dependant on the current location and date. The time could be on a slider in a subcategory of environment.

Multilight is the ability to change light intensity and create an animation of the relation between time and light source intensity.
What you ask for, is a sunlight animation, that means to move the light source. This needs every frame to be re-rendered. Shadows change too.

It would be very nice to have but with maxwell's render times I can't say it is a priority.
