Rhino is shipping to resselers, those who got it (mainly U.S.) are selling it already. Anouncements in the rhino site will be made in march the first, when every resseler should have it availiable.

I live a couple minutes from McNeel in Seattle so I stopped by and purchased my upgrade :D

I was told it is shipping and there are online stores that have stock. In America at least.

www.ob.com

also maybe email McNeel or fax your order? They will probably be more than happy to sell you a copy.

Do you guys know if it's possible to upgrade my student version of 3.0 to a commercial version of 4.0? I've been using my student version of 3.0 since the end of school... and would like to upgrade that if I can, but I can't find anything that says whether you can or not...

I think so. At least I was told so once.

gah, I need this software. I need an american reseller open online at weekends (today) willing to ship a student license of Rhino 4.0 overseas. Merde, am I asking for too much?

jswolf - yes that should be possible according to their FAQ.

Yes, student licenses are fully upgradeable. Also, just FYI, there is no restriction on using student licenses for commercial work.

hmm, seems a license in Europe is 195 Euro, while a license in USA is 195 US$, that's quite a difference now? must be a better deal to get it online in the states then...
