I would not advise this as the toxicity from the parts of the old CPU must not be good for the body as these impurities are absorbed into the cooking food.

I tried this with an old computer I had in the late 80's and found out it had a lot more plastic in the case than I thought. It was one ugly, stinky mess once I lit it up.

As an aside, I grill quite a bit. My favorite way to light the charcoal is a triple pipe MAPP gas torch. It takes 60-90 sec. at 2800-3200 degrees and adds no residue to the coals. Quickest, cheapest, cleanest way I've figured out.
