This time I am posting an old model of mine, i made it while studying NURBS modeling in Maya. That time it was a render using Mental Ray.
Now, when there is such a great new plugin I got a chance to reassign the materials and make a new render of this model.

I guess noone will be surprized if i'd say that compared to Mental Ray, Maxwell is AS EASY AS TAKING A PICTURE!

That was a joke...
My father-in-law yesterday called me an ex-doctor (meaning i shouldn't care anymore about what he says about doctors)...
That was funny

I already got used to call myself an ex-doctor by that time, but when i heard the things he said, i became so angry, that I realised you can never be an EX-doctor... (like there are no EX-spys:))))

HI Boris,
Nice stuff, some of the renders the contrast/levels looks like it could use some adjusting.

How about doing the /Softness/ for cg sphere?... I think it would do rather well.

i'm pretty sure your old chinese coin is mirrored. Just 'flip horizontal' the image and that's how the text should read. otherwise - very cool.
