hmmm. I have been working on a project for the last 4 days, I use the new plug in, and today, when i tried to load the last saved file, it would not open, see the pictures below:

I have to merge the file, there is not a particular object that causes the problem, I just merge the file and it works, but I have to set all maxwell render parameters again. Any clues? I reinstalled the plug in...

I did increase the scripter memory in the preferences/maxscript section, but to no avail.

Try to increase that parameter.

You probably have this problem because of the caustics properties that are attached to each object in the scene. The caustics properties will be disabled for the next plug-in update, since the Maxwell renderer is not fully supporting them.

As a possible workaround, try to uncheck "Load/Save Scene Scripts" from the MaxScript Startup group.
