Any features you'd like to see implemented into Maxwell?

Hey guys. I've just downloaded and installed the Realflow demo from the NextLimit site, and I've got to say I'm impressed. ONE of things I'm impressed at is the fact that all of the files associated with the work you doing are organised using a 'project' system (much like Maya.)

I think implementing a similar system in Maxwell would be a massive improvement.

Why?

Imagine if when you loaded up studio, instead of starting a new scene, you start a new project. This will create a folder layout for you, in a place of your choosing. Separate folders for MXI's, MXS's, MXM's, Texture's (if needed), Cache (we can dream.) The scene you are working on would then automatically point to these places. No more having to fill in where you MXI's are saved, or where your default mats are stored, unless you want to.

I think that this would make the program a LOT more user-friendly, however I can see that people might be sceptical, as they would have to reorganise old scenes (although I'm sure some good script work would take care of this.)

I'm just wondering what people's thoughts on this are?

Cheers,
Dr Merman

yes sir! I second this..

projectsystem would help sooo much better..

I'm not a fan of keeping all the textures mxm's and any potential project related file in the C:program files.. maxwell folder..
