not correct illab.. he went against all who dare to judge positively the other engine... his manner are always rude and heavy... on the verge ( and sometimes over) of ill- manners .. which is not accepable from a "so called moderator"... i better describe hi as an inflamer...
... would be much more professional and understandable to say in a inpersonall tone " we dont accept thread about comparision with other render engine" rather tha talk morons etc...

thank you giacob - And for the sake of clarity, my complaint has nothing to do with Fry or Feversoft, it is about the principals by which we communicate on forums like this. The apology is required simply on the basis that he flouted his own rules of forum use, for which many others have been banned - by him, this is clearly unacceptable by any standard and leaves a bad taste in the mouth of all.

I think the only thing we are certian of Stefan is that none of us have all the facts, so to try to debate who did what and when is only going to end in tears and create a rift between a great bunch of 3D artists that have so much more to gain by working together.

Well, there is no excuse for what I said last night. Perhaps I was hoping to get the thread pulled, as I'd requested that Juan delete the thread on Monday after mverta's comments.

But at the same time I was debating with Mr. An, I was receiving not-so-nice PM's from mverta. True, I contacted him first, but boy did he come at me swinging. All of that together combined for a very unnerving experience.

I apologize to the people of this community. And even to mverta and Thomas An. I can also forgive them for their indiscretions. I will try to feel good will to them from now on whether it is returned or not. Understanding is the key.

Julian, just an impartial observation: mverta has not been listed as a moderator on any forums here for approx.1-2 months, so he could not have deleted your request.

Yep, me too. After what's happen, i'm not so glad to be part of that community. How come people that are the most respected for their knowledge and their works can act like that? They are destroying NL bussiness.

hmm, isnt it all a bit overreaction. apperrent is that the nl people are very angry at the fry preople, for what ever reason this is.

maxwell buisness is because of they made one of the best renderengines on the market renderquality-wise. on the other hand they are also just human beeings and can also be angry. for me all that is a bit too much kindergarden here.

the forum is interesting for its info and facts about our work & job, i hope this stays so. all the rest i find very uninteresting.

I know that's more a problem of how the business is conducted, but why did you pay so much attention to fry and not, for instance indigo, which seems to me by far one of the most appealing renderer around in term of image quality, plugin integration, dev progress and speed increase? just curious...
