I would really like that.

The workflow right now sucks. Convert a jpg to a mxi and then add it as a lightsource... And on top of that we have no control of its intencity from within the material Editor. Why?

Please change that in 1.2. Please

I add my vote, and please add the same control for the mxi environment and everywhere an mxi map is/will be involved.
