Thank you for sharing your textures, and information about them. Took me a little time to locate the actual libravy "79 wood veneer scans.rar (35 Mb)" on the page I think these will be great also for close up product shots. Do you have these also in even higher resolution than 1276 x 1681 ?

yes i think offset with lots of touch up remains the best way to do it, even if there are good program ( such as the one from allegorythmic ) but its good mostly for repetitive patterns material, in the case of wood i'm not sur that work that well without changing to much the aspect of the wood

i did tweak only few textures so far as i've got some work to do but i'll try to finish the all within one week
